Dear Commentor,

Thank you for submitting a public review comment for ISO/IEC FCD 1989 Information Technology ­ Programming languages, their environments and system software interfaces ­ Programming Language COBOL.

J4 is in the process of reviewing your comments.  They will be considered in developing the US position on the SC22 FCD ballot.  The final decision on the International standard will be made by working group 4 of SC22.  We will notify you of the specific disposition of your comments at the time the document is forwarded for ballot as a Final Draft International Standard (FDIS), expected around May 2002.
