Jim,

This is a copy of the e-mail I sent to Doris Bernardini, chair of V1, as
liaison from NCITS to V1.  Thus I am doing my action items 28 (=61) and 29
(=62) from the meeting in  April 2001.

Doris has answered and actions seem to be underway to correct some of the
deficiencies.
