Subject: Follow-up to JTLB 2916 - US Endorsement of Dr. Kenneth Whistler as the US Candidate for Convener of JTC 1/SC 22/WG 20

Dear Ms. Cintron:

Dr. Kenneth Whistler has volunteered to serve a term as Convener of JTC 1/SC 22/WG 20. As result of the closure of JTC 1 TAG letter ballot 2916, he has gained the endorsement of the US National Body. The US National Body feels that Dr. Kenneth Whistler has the necessary resources to carry out the responsibilities of the Convener of JTC 1/SC 22/WG 20.
