Subject: Notification of the INCITS Executive Board's Intent to Relinquish Financial Support of the SC 11 Secretariat

At the August 7-9, 2002 meeting of the INCITS Executive Board, the following motion was addressed:
(Jameson/Zajaczkowski)

The INCITS Executive Board notifies the JTC 1 TAG of their intent to relinquish financial support of the SC 11 Secretariat.

Vote on this motion: unanimous consent

The motion passes.
The INCITS Secretariat was instructed to notify the JTC 1 TAG Administrator of the INCITS Executive Board's intent to relinquish financial support of the SC 11 Secretariat. As a requirement of ITI's contract with ANSI, the INCITS Executive Board is prepared to meet the maximum obligation of one year's funding of the SC 11 Secretariat from the time of this notification, if required.
