Background

At the February 2003 inaugural meeting of the INCITS Standards Development Board, the following action item was assigned:

33. The INCITS Secretariat will issue a call for volunteers to serve as the INCITS Liaison to IEEE NESCOM. The Standards Development Board member must also be a member of IEEE NESCOM to serve in this capacity. (Agenda Item 6.4, February 2003 SDB minutes)

Per in030334, IEEE has indicated that the INCITS Liaison does not need to be a member of NesCom.

Requested Action

Members of the INCITS Standards Development Board (SDB) interested in serving as the INCITS Liaison to the IEEE NesCom should notify the INCITS Secretariat (jgarner@itic.org) by March 28, 2003.
