Subject: Disapprove of Ecma Open XML as an ISO/IEC standard

Dear sirs,

As the President of a small company, I do understand the value of the ODT format.  There is no reason to have a second approved format for meeting the functions that the ODT format does.

Making a second format is diluting the strength of having an approved format.

No one should consider choice of formats to be in the best interests of the body politic.  One Constitution,  one format;  two Constitutions,  anarchy.

Sincerely,

Steven Wallace

President

Neutron Sciences, Inc.
