H3 International Representative 2nd call closed January 2, 2003 with no response.

W1 International Representative 2nd call closed May 24, 2002 with no response. At the August 2002 INCITS EB meeting, the INCITS Vice Chairman volunteered to contact the W1 Chair to discuss solutions to the current W1 IR vacancy. At the November 2002 INCITS EB meeting, Mr. Richards reported that the current W1 International Representative had indicated his intent to reapply, however, several organizational changes had made it impossible for him to secure the required statements of management support. A management decision was anticipated in early 2003. This matter is posted for consideration at February 2003 SDB meeting.

B5 Chairman 2nd call closed October 24, 2001 with no response - IT/02-0083. At the February 2002 INCITS meeting, Mr. Steinbrenner's term was extended until the August 2002 INCITS meeting. At the August 2002 meeting, B5 was notified that unless a chair candidate was identified, the disbandment of B5 would be addressed at the November 2002 INCITS EB meeting (IT/02-1040). At the November 2002 INCITS EB meeting, it was noted that B5 was conducting a letter ballot on the Acting Chairman's recommendation to convert B5 to a maintenance TC, and if the recommendation were approved, Mr. Steinbrenner agreed to serve as B5 Chairman. The B5 ballot passed and the recommendation to convert B5 to a maintenance TC is posted for action at the February 2003 SDB meeting.

J13 International Representative 2nd call closed November 3, 2000 with no response - Mr. Haflich was told he could serve as J13 Chairman and IR.

Although all INCITS officers are encouraged to attend training, it is not mandatory for Task Group officers or officers of Maintenance Committees.

J3 International Representative Van Snyder Appointed September 2001 - Action Item 36 from the August 2002 INCITS EB meeting: Per IT/02-1150, Mr. Silletti, the INCITS Liaison to J3, reminded the J3 IR of the requirement to receive training within one year of his September 2001 appointment. Per IT/02-1182, the INCITS Secretariat has offered to provide personal training to the J3 IR, however, Mr. Snyder has not yet responded. At the November 2002 INCITS EB meeting, Mr. Richards, in his capacity as Vice Chairman, agreed to follow-up with Mr. Snyder to schedule training. Per in030174, the Secretariat contacted Mr. Snyder following the November 2002 EB meeting. Per in030175, personal training has been scheduled for February 5, 2003. The status of Mr. Snyder's training will be considered at the February 2003 SDB meeting.
