Hi Jennifer,
At the August INCITS meeting, Monica Vago of ITI showed an estimate of the Secretariat's percentage-allocation of time to a prioritized list of functions of INCITS (it020848). This was forthcoming and appreciated. I was pleased that the list was also included in the draft procedures of the new INCITS.
At the inaugural meeting of the new INCITS next month, I would like to see this list updated and presented, along with a figure for the total associated headcount or hours, for use discussing the proposed budget. This would provide a basis for members to modify (possibly) and approve the single large dollar amount previously shown as "Total Indirect" in for example, it021158.
I hope and believe this will make it possible to have a meaningful discussion of the budget without getting into the sort of details that Mr. Dawson objected to as intrusive.
