Reminder to B10 Chairman Concerning Membership Compliance
- Action Item 2 from the February 2003 SPB Meeting
From:
John Neumann, SDB Liaison to B10
Brian,
This is a reminder that INCITS procedures require its TCs and TGs to moniter
its membership for compliance with procedures regarding meeting attendance
and voting responses to Letter Ballots. Doing so eliminates confusion
about voting elegibility. Basically, the rules are that a member must attend
two out of three meetings, and respond to two out of three letter ballots
to maintain voting rights. When a member fails to meet his requirements,
a jeopardy letter must be sent advising the member how he may be removed from
jeopardy (attend the next scheduled meeting or return the next letter ballot).
Please note that these procedures also apply to TGs.
