INCITS Secretariat Report to the April 2003 Meeting of the INCITS Executive Board


This Secretariat report addresses the issues found under Agenda Item 3 on the A 2003 INCITS Executive Board agenda.


Staff Accomplishments

  1. Managed normal workload as defined in IT/02-0987 and JT/02-0299 (lists of required services as approved by INCITS EB and the JTC 1 TAG). 
  2. Worked on action items from the February 2003 INCITS EB, SDB and SPB meetings.
  3. Met with ITI legal counsel 2 hours since the last meeting (this excludes the time legal counsel spent on work between meeting with staff).
  4. Deposed concerning INCITS processes in the Convolve legal proceeding.
  5. Worked with the ITI accounting manager in preparing the audited 2002 and 1st Q 2003 financial reports.
  6. Prepared materials related to the INCITS program for the March 2003 ITI Board meeting.
  7. Worked with ITI IT Director to accommodate INCITS request for a LAN at future meetings.  On-site demo and training has been arranged and equipment purchase will follow.
  8. Conducted two personal TC officer training sessions since January 1, 2003 to bring overdue officers into compliance with the INCITS training policy:  J3 International Representative and H3 Chairman.
  9. Conducted interim Finance Board Committee teleconference.
