1. A listing of all external organizations and their committees (or other sub-groups) that have concerns that overlap with INCITS Technical Committees.

2. A policy of offering reciprocal observer/liason status to members of other organizations, in exchange for similar status for INCITS representatives.

3. Some sort of formal approach from INCITS organizational representatives (as opposed to individual members) to the outside organizations to create liason/observer relationships. (This avoids it being done on an individual basis and reflects an organizational committment to the relationship.)

4. Perhaps a yearly report to the INCITS organization about the various liason/observer relationships so that INCITS remains organizationally aware of the relationships and make sure they are being maintained.

5. Attendance or participation in annual meetings of other organizations and offering an opportunity for representatives to participate in an INCITS meeting.
