Dear Deborah,

This cover letter corrects an editorial oversight in the
previous cover letter.  The project proposal voted on
and approved as described in T11/04-726v0 was not
T11/04-614v0, but rather T11/04-614v1.  This letter
corrects that oversight and provides corrected supporting
documentation.

The T11 committee has prepared a project proposal for a
project entitled Fibre Channel Device Attach
Second Generation (FC-DA-2).  The project is intended
to develop an INCITS Technical Report that extends
and improves the Fibre Channel Device Attach technical
report (FC-DA), recently approved for publication as
an INCITS technical report.

The project proposal was noted for consideration on the
meeting's agenda, document T11/04-590v1.

The project proposal is contained in document T11/04-614v1.
At the October 7, 2004 meeting of T11, held in Austin, Texas,
Craig Carlson moved, on behalf of T11.3, to forward the
FC-DA-2 Project Proposal (T11/04-614v1) to INCITS for further
processing.  The motion carried 38 For, 0 Opposed,
with 0 Abstaining and 14 Not Voting. This meets
the two-thirds rule.

The vote is recorded in clause 11.2.1 of the October
2004 T11 plenary minutes, T11/04-714v1.

Could you please take the appropriate steps to carry forward
the recommendation of T11 and accept the project as an INCITS
technical report to be developed within T11.

Thank you very much for your assistance in this matter.

Sincerely,

Robert Snively, Chair INCITS T11
