As recorded in the minutes of the 30-31 March 2005 meeting of the INCITS T6 committee, (document INCITS_T6_N2005_004), the T6 committee voted to request approval for a project proposal (INCITS_T6_N2005_002) to revise INCITS 256:2001.  The recorded vote was seven yes, zero against, zero abstain, and zero no response for a total of seven voting members.  The next INCITS T6 meeting is scheduled for 11 October 2005 and will be held in Fairfax, Virginia.  For further information on the next meeting or the project proposal, contact Dan Kimball at 703-767-1598 or daniel.kimball.ctr@dla/mil.
