Join IEC, ISO, ITU and more than 20 leading
industry groups in the World Standards Cooperation conference on Digital Technologies in the Home
Dear Sir/Madam,
On behalf of the ISO, IEC and ITU World Standards Cooperation
(WSC), we have the pleasure of inviting you to the conference: "Digital Technologies in the Home" to be held at the International Conference Centre of Geneva (CICG), Switzerland on
2-3 February, 2006.
This event is a unique opportunity to contribute to
shaping the future of the digital home because, as you can see from the
attached provisional programme:
- for the first time, more than 20 leading industry
groups will get together to discuss the key
issues concerning international standardization in these fields;
- it will focus on the strategic role of standards as essential market enablers (as opposed to the detailed
technical development most often dealt with by these groups);
- participation is restricted to selected high-level professionals (by invitation only) and the event will promote an open and
qualified exchange of views, aiming at providing concrete indications on how standardization programmes can be harmonized and resources
optimized to sustain and accelerate the
development of the digital home market.
We would be most grateful if you could let us know if
you will be able to participate at the workshop, by filling out the attached
registration form by no later than 23 January
2006 to the IEC either by e-mail: ich@iec.ch
or by fax: +41 22 919 03 00.
For any further information, please contact Jack Sheldon,
Phone: +41 22 919 02 50 or jrs@iec.ch
Kind regards,
