Comments Accompanying the Sony Electronics NO Vote
This change and proposed text does not indicate the responsibilities of the consortia member and the rationale for EB membership is unclear. Does the consortia need to maintain EB membership for the duration of the fast track process or only for the initial submission. Does consortia membership bestow voting rights? If so this could have a detrimental impact on meeting quorums and letter ballots. Does the consortia have an obligation to attend EB meetings as a qualification to see the fast track through or would processing stop after some number of missed meetings?

The following additional comments were submitted in response to INCITS 2465:

Comments Accompanying the Apple Inc. ABSTAIN Vote
Apple believes this will be a disincentive for Consortia to bring in Fast Track Specifications
