Subject: 2008 National Standards Maintenance Recommendations from T11
At the request of INCITS, made in document in071359, T11 has considered the
appropriate maintenance actions for the INCITS T11 standards with maintenance
scheduled for 2008.
The proposed maintenance actions were presented in the T11 plenary meeting
held October 11, 2007 in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. Notice was given that
the actions would be considered in the December T11 plenary meeting.
The maintenance actions were presented in the T11 plenary meeting held December
7, 2007 in Lake Mary, Florida. Bob Nixon (Emulex) moved and Horst Truestedt
(TrueFocus) seconded to recommend to INCITS the maintenance actions as recorded
in the minutes of plenary meeting #84 of the INCITS Fibre Channel (T11) Technical
Committee held Thursday, 6 December 2007. INCITS RD-2 requires approval of
this question in accord with the 2/3 rule, as determined by roll call. The
motion met the 2/3 rule, with 28 in favor, 0 opposed, 0 abstaining, and 20
not voting. Details of the vote are included in the enclosed minutes
of that meeting, T11/07-764v0.
Please note that, because of the closure of TC T11.5, Project 1571-TR
is now assigned to T11.
