INCITS 2503 - Appointment of Chairman - INCITS/L1, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), closed on January 17, 2008.  Mr. Richard Pearsall received the required level of support (majority) to secure appointment as Chairman of INCITS/L1, Geographic Information Systems (GIS).  His first term begins in April 2008 and will expire in April 2011.

As required by INCITS procedures, an appointed INCITS Subgroup officer must attend INCITS Subgroup Officer Training within one year of their appointment.  As Mr. Pearsall has never attended an INCITS training session, he will need to receive INCITS Subgroup Officer Training for Chairmen within one year of his appointment - by April 2009.
