Subject: Notification of AIM Global's Failure to Attain Voting Rights on the INCITS Executive Board and Required Steps to Restart the Process - Action Item a08.001 from the January 2008 INCITS EB Meeting


As the US SC 31 TAG Administrator, AIM Global is required to be a voting member the INCITS Executive Board (per RD-2, Section 5.7.3).  

To complete the attendance portion of the process to attain voting membership, an AIM Global representative must attend two out of three successive EB meetings.  AIM Global was represented at the July 2007 INCITS EB meeting in San Jose, California.  AIM Global was not represented at either the September 2007 meeting in Lexington, Kentucky or the January 2008 meeting in Washington, DC.  As such, AIM Global will need to restart to the process to attain voting rights by attending two out of three successive Executive Board meetings.  The meeting schedule for the remainder of 2008 is detailed below to assist in planning your attendance:
