Barbara and Serena,
T10 has voted to create a new
project for SCSI Architecture Model - 5 (SAM-5). From the draft T10 minutes:
- 10.2 Project Proposal: SCSI Architecture Model - 5 (SAM-5)
(08-124) [Penokie]
George Penokie briefly reviewed the project
proposal for SCSI Architecture Model - 5 (SAM-5) contained in 08124r1. He noted
that the CAP working group had recommended that T10 approve the project
proposal.
George Penokie moved that T10 approve the SCSI Architecture
Model - 5 (SAM-5) project proposal (08-124r1). Fred Knight seconded the motion.
The motion passed on a two-thirds vote of 26:0:2:9=37.
John Lohmeyer took
an action item to forward the SCSI Architecture Model - 5 (SAM-5) project
proposal (08124r1) to INCITS for further processing.
Please
forward this project to INCITS for approval.
