Seven OMG Specifications Formally Published as 2012 ISO/IEC Standards

Brings to 10 the number of OMG Specifications Published by ISO/IEC

NEEDHAM, Mass.--()--OMG® today announced that seven OMG specifications have been formally published as 2012 ISO/IEC Standards.

“I would like to thank all the National Bodies and OMG Revision Task Force members for their efforts.”

“OMG has been working cooperatively with experts from the JTC1 for a number of years and has had PAS Submitter status since 1998. Making this new group of seven fundamental OMG platform specifications available as Full ISO/IEC International standards gives them full status for being referenced by other National and International Standards,” commented Tom Rutt, Fujitsu, and OMG Liaison Steering Committee Chair. “I would like to thank all the National Bodies and OMG Revision Task Force members for their efforts.”
