NEWS RELEASE Doc No.: PR/95-027 Washington, D.C., March 31, 1995 --Accredited Standards Committee X3 announces the availability of COBOL Information Bulletin #27 (CIB-27). CIB-27 is the fourth group of interpretations issued in response to inquiries raised regarding ANSI X3.23:1985, Programming Language COBOL. The responses to the interpretations were prepared by Technical Committee X3J4, which is responsible for the maintenance of that standard. This information bulletin reflects the technical opinion of X3J4 and is intended solely as supplementary information to users of the standard. ANSI X3.23:1985 is not altered by the issuance of CIB-27.
