NEWS RELEASE Doc No.: PR/95-028 Washington, D.C., May 5, 1995 -- Accredited Standards Committee X3, Information Technology is announcing for the Revision of ANSI X3.62;1987, Optical Character Recognition (OCR) This revision involves the revision of Section 3, Sub-Section 3.5, Optical Properties, Sub-Section 3.5.2, Fluorescence of X3.62 to incorporate and formalize existing de facto practices of OCR paper manufacturers and industry approved measurement procedures.
