NEWS RELEASE Doc No.: PR/95-033 Washington, D.C., May 5, 1995 -- Accredited Standards Committee X3, Information Technology is announcing Approval of a New Project, Xbase Level II: Advanced Extension This standard would identify and consolidate language constructs for interpreted and compiled implementations. The project would identify and define object oriented extensions, appropriate class hierarchies, explore data definition and query language, and prescribe other extensions to the language where necessary.
