Washington, DC, May 12, 1995 -- JTC1 TAG announces the 
U.S. Submission 
of ANSI X3.215:1994, Programming Language FORTH, for 
Fast-Track 
processing in JTC 1.  The JTC 1 TAG is soliciting comments 
from the U.S. 
community on the appropriateness of the submission of this 
standard for 
Fast-Track processing in JTC 1.  The announcement period 
extends from 
June 23, 1995 through July 22, 1995.

ANSI X3.215:1994, Programming Language FORTH was 
approved by the 
American National Standards Institute in March 1994.  This 
standard 
specifies an interface between a Forth System and a Forth 
Program by 
defining the words provided by a Standard System.
