The comment period extends from July 21, 1995 to September 19, 1995. This ANSI Standard specifies the characteristics of a series of related types of 130 mm optical disk cartridge(ODCs). The sides are designated as Types R/W and R/W-R, Types WO and WO-R, Types O-ROM and O-ROM-R. Additionally, this Standard allows specific combinations of media types within an ODC. This proposed ANSI standard provides for interchange between optical disk drives. Together with a standard for volume and file structure it provides for full data interchange between data processing systems.
