X3 Announces the Public Comment Period for X3.283:199x,
Information Technology - High-Performance Parallel Interface - 
Mapping to Fibre Channel (HIPPI-FC)

Washington D.C., July 1995 -- Accredited Standards Committee X3, 
Information Technology is announcing the public review of X3.283:199x.
The comment period extends from July 21, 1995 to September 19, 1995.

This draft standard provides a common method for encapsulating Frames and Ordered Sets defined by FC-PH (ANSI X3.230:1994) for transport over a HIPPI infrastructure.
