PROGRAMMING LANGUAGE C IS BEING REVISED  !!!!

Washington D.C., August 1995 -- Accredited Standards Committee X3, 
Information Technology cordially invites interested parties to join in the revision of Programming Language C.  RSVP to Lynn Barra at lbarra@itic.nw.dc.us by October 21, 1995.

Participation in the U.S. TAG , X3J11, Programming Language C is open to all.  JTC 1 ISO/IEC SC22/WG14 , the international committee for C is restricted to representatives of national Bodies.  This revision will involve both committees.

The revision is expected to include:

* The incorporation of Amendment 1
* All technical corrigenda and records of response
* The evolution of C++
* Future directions in the current standard
* Cross-language standards groups work.

Any organizations or individuals who are materially affected and have an interest in participating in this effort should contact the X3J11 Chairman, Mr. Rex Jaeschke, 2051 Swans Neck Way, Reston, VA  22091, rex@aussie.com.

An initial call for patents and pertinent issues (copyrights, trademarks) is 
now being issued.  Please submit information on these issues to the X3 
Secretariat at the address below.
