The comment period extends from November 24, 1995 to January 26, 1996. This standard specifies the semantics and syntax of the computer programming language Extended Pascal by specifying requirements for a processor and for a conforming program. Two levels of compliance are defined for both processors and programs. In accordance with ANSI procedures, which require a five-year review of its approved standards, the development committee X3B5 recommends this standard be reissued without change.
