The comment period extends from November 24, 1995 to January 26, 1996. This standard establishes the descriptions of those elements of a data communication system pertinent to the determination of performance of an Information Path within a data communication system; Criteria to be used in determining performance of an Information Path within a data communication system; and Methodology for determining values for these criteria. In accordance with ANSI procedures, which require a five-year review of its approved standards, the development committee X3B5 recommends this standard be reissued without change.
