X3 Announces the Public Comment Period for ANSI X3.44:1990, 
Determination of the Performance of Data Communication Systems

Washington D.C., November 1995 -- Accredited Standards Committee 
X3, Information Technology is announcing the public review of 
ANSI X3.44:1990.  The comment period extends from November 24, 
1995 to January 26, 1996.

This standard establishes the descriptions of those elements of a data 
communication system  pertinent to the determination of performance of 
an Information Path within a data communication system; Criteria to be 
used in determining performance of an Information Path within a data 
communication system; and Methodology for determining values for these 
criteria.

In accordance with ANSI procedures, which require a five-year 
review of its approved standards, the development committee X3B5 
recommends this standard be reissued without change.
