X3 Announces the Public Review Comment Period for
ISO/IEC 9075-3:1995, Information technology - Database languages - SQL -
Part 3: Call-Level Interface (SQL/CLI)
Washington D.C., March 1996 - Accredited Standards Committee X3,
Information Technology is announcing the public comment period for
ISO/IEC 9075-3:1995. The public review extends from April 12, 1996 to
June 11, 1996.
This part of ISO/IEC 9075 defines the structures and procedures that may
be used to execute statements of the database language SQL from within
an application written in a standard programming language in such a way
that procedures used are independent of the SQL statements to be
executed.
Note: This draft international standard has been processed simultaneously
as an American National Standard and an International Standard. Any
comments received during this public review period will addressed and
considered for future revision.
