X3 Announces the Public Comment Period for 
X3.297:199x, Information Technology - Fibre Channel Generation Physical and 
Signaling Interface (FC-PH-2) 

Washington D.C., April 1996 - Accredited Standards Committee 
X3, Information Technology is announcing the public comment period for 
X3.297:199x.  The public review extends from May 10, 1996 to July 9, 1996.

FC-PH-2 describes the enhancement to the ANSI X3.230:1994, Fiber Channel - 
Physical and Signaling Interface (FC-PH) and is an addendum to the FC-PH 
document.
