 X3 Announces the Approval of a New Project,
Amendment 1 to ANSI X3.253:1995, SCSI-3 Parallel Interface (SPI)


Washington D.C., May 1996 -- Accredited Standards Committee X3, 
Information Technology announces approval of this new project being 
developed within Technical Committee, X3T10, Lower Level Interface.

This amendment will correct identified defects within ANSI X3.253:1995, 
SCSI-3 Parallel Interface (SPI).

The next two meetings of X3T10 are May 6-10, 1996 in Ft. Lauderdale, FL and 
July 15-19, 1996 in Colorado Springs, CO.
