NCITS Announces the Public Comment Period for the **Withdrawal** of ANSI X3.129:1986, Information Systems - Intelligent Peripheral Interface Physical Level

Washington D.C., May 1997 - NCITS (National Committee for Information Technology Standards) is announcing the public comment period for ANSI X3.129:1986. The public review extends from May 9, 1997 to July 8, 1997.

This American National Standard provides the mechanical, electrical and bus protocol requirements for a high-performance interface for peripheral devices attached to powerful computers.

In accordance with ANSI procedures and NCITS, which require a five-year review of approved standards, Technical Committee T11 recommends this standard be withdrawn.
