JTC 1 TAG Announces the U.S. Submission to JTC 1 for Fast-Track Processing, ANSI X3.299-1997

Washington D.C., June 1997 -- JTC 1 TAG (U.S. TAG to ISO/IEC JTC 1, Information Technology) announces the U.S. Submission to JTC 1 for Fast- Track processing, ANSI X3.299-1997, for Information technology - High- Performance Parallel Interface - Mapping to Asynchronous Transfer Mode (HIPPI-ATM).

This Standard was approved by the ANSI Board of Standards Review on March 12, 1997. The JTC 1 TAG is soliciting comments from the U.S. community on the appropriateness of the submission of this standard for Fast-Track processing in JTC 1.

The announcement period extends from July 4, 1997 through August 2, 1997.
