NCITS Announces the Public Comment Period for the Reaffirmation of ANSI X3.165:1992, Programming Language DIBOL

Washington D.C., July 1997 - NCITS (National Committee for Information Technology Standards) is announcing the public comment period for ANSI X3.165:1992. The public review extends from August 1, 1997 to September 30, 1997.

This standard is designed to promote the interchangeability of DIBOL programs among a variety of computers. Programs conforming to this standard will be said to be written in DIBOL.

In accordance with ANSI procedures and NCITS, which require a five-year review of approved standards, OMC recommends this standard be reissued, without change.
