Washington D.C., October 1997 - NCITS (National Committee for Information Technology Standards) is announcing the public comment period for ANSI X3.133:1986. The public review extends from October 10, 1997 to December, 1997.
This standard specifies the syntax and semantics of three database languages: a schema definition language, a subschema definition language, and a module language and data manipulation language.
In accordance with ANSI procedures and NCITS, which require a five-year review of approved standards, Technical Committee H2 recommends this standard be reissued, without change.
