Washington D.C., November 1997 - NCITS (National Committee for Information Technology Standards) is announcing the public comment period for X3.200:1992. The public review extends from November 7, 1997 to January 6, 1998.
The scope of this document is to specify the characteristics of a 356 mm optical disk cartridge for the purpose of information interchange between information processing systems and for information storage.
In accordance with ANSI procedures and NCITS, which require a five- year review of approved standards, OMC recommends this standard recommends this standard be reissued, without change.
