"Related to involvement of consumer organizations in the accessibility standards
work for the ICT Sector, Dan Bart of TIA noted he will be speaking at the
Self Help for Hard of Hearing People (SHHH) Convention on July 1, 2005, and
TIA will have a booth at the Convention http://hearingloss.org/html/conv2005.html
and, in addition, during the Global Standards Collaboration (GSC-10) meetng
hosted by ETSI the end of August 2005, one day will be spent on Consumer/User
Workshop issues, and that JTC1 was invited as an Observer to the GSC meeting
and could send a representative and could present the work of the special
