1. Administrative
1.1 Call to Order (D. Thewlis)
The meeting was called to order by Mr. Thewlis, the Convenor, at 13:10 Eastern time.

1.2 Introduction of New Members and Attendees (D. Thewlis)
Members in Attendance:  Dave Thewlis (Intel); Wim Coekhaerts (Oracle).

On February 4, 2005,  DoD, Sony and Unisys were sent jeopardy letters indicating that they have missed two of the last three meetings of the INCITS Study Group on Linux and that their membership would be dropped following this meeting if they do not participate.

Unisys has informed us as of February 7th that it is dropping membership in the INCITS Study Group on Linux effective immediately.

The Members of the INCITS Study Group on Linux are:

Department of Defense, Hewlett Packard, Intel, Oracle, Sony Electronics, Sun Microsystems, Usenix.

1.4 Approval of Minutes from the Fifth Meeting of the INCITS Study Group on Linux - January 28, 2005 (D. Thewlis)

           The Minutes from the Fifth Meeting of the INCITS Study Group on Linux, January 28, 2005, were approved without change.

1.5 Approval of the Draft Agenda for the February 7, 2005 Teleconference (D. Thewlis)

The Draft Agenda for the February, 2005 Teleconference, LX/05-0007, was approved with the addition of documents LX/05-0008,
LX/05-0009, and LX/05-0010 to Agenda Item 1.3.  M/Wim Coekhaerts (Oracle), S/Dave Thewlis (Intel).


2. Convener's Remarks
(D. Thewlis)

Mr. Thewlis noted that only he and Mr. Coekhaerts were in attendance at this meeting, but that SGs did not have a quorum requirement and that the meeting was legitimate.  He noted that the deadline for initial submission of comments and positions on the part of ISGL members was this Friday, 11 February, and that possibly members had confused that date with the conference call date.


3.  Status of Activities of the INCITS Study Group on Linux


3.1 Status of Ongoing Development of Organizational Positions and Comments (D. Thewlis)
          Nothing new was reported by Intel or Oracle.



4. Next Meetings (D. Thewlis)

4.1  The seventh meeting of the INCITS Study Group on Linux will be  24-25 February, 2005, at ITI, Washington, D.C.
4.2  The eighth meeting of the INCITS Study Group on Linux will be 10-11 March, 2005, at ITI, Washington, D.C. (if needed)
