On February 4, 2005, DoD, Sony and Unisys were sent jeopardy letters
indicating that they have missed two of the last three meetings of the INCITS
Study Group on Linux and that their membership would be dropped following
this meeting if they do not participate.
Unisys has informed us as of February 7th that it is dropping membership
in the INCITS Study Group on Linux effective immediately.
The Members of the INCITS Study Group on Linux are:
Department of Defense, Hewlett Packard, Intel, Oracle, Sony Electronics,
Sun Microsystems, Usenix.

with the addition of documents LX/05-0008,

2. Convener's Remarks

Mr. Thewlis noted that only he and Mr. Coekhaerts were in attendance at this
meeting, but that SGs did not have a quorum requirement and that the meeting
was legitimate. He noted that the deadline for initial submission of
comments and positions on the part of ISGL members was this Friday, 11 February,
and that possibly members had confused that date with the conference call
date.
