Subject: OASIS Liaison with INCITS M1

To:  INCITS Technical Committee M1, Biometrics
   
OASIS is interested in pursuing collaborative activities with INCITS
Technical Committee M1, Biometrics, regarding the discovery and definition
of service-oriented XML methods and bindings to implement the BIAS functions
under development by the Committee.  This will confirm our request to
establish a liaison relationship between INCITS Technical Committee M1 and
our consortium, in order to facilitate cooperative work among M1 and our
proposed BIAS web services technical committee and, as appropriate,
additional security-oriented technical committees.
