PL22 (or CT22 before it) has had the TAG responsibility for SC22
Other
Working Group on Vulnerabilities (OWG:V) since its establishment in
2006. At its August meeting, PL22 urged SC22 to change the
OWG:V into a
full WG. This was accomplished, creating WG23.
However, it turns out
that PL22 must request the INCITS Executive Board to assume TAG
responsibility for the newly formed WG23.
Below is an accelerated letter ballot to approve the PL22 request
to the
INCITS Executive Board to assume TAG responsibility of the newly
formed
SC22 WG23, Programming Language Vulnerabilities.
Please reply to Vice-Chair John Benito, as the Chairman will be
traveling.
