Subject: INCITS-V36/08-0044: V36 recommends the US National Body approve re-allocation of the Secretariat of ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 36 from UK to Korea.

 

Comment:  The UK and Korea had agreed to share SC-36 duties with the UK taking the role first and relinquishing it to Korea at an agreed upon date.  The date has arrived and Korea has nominated Mr. Seung Chan (Channy) Lee to assume the position.
