JTC 1 TAG Announces the U.S. Submission to JTC 1 for Fast- Track Processing, ANSI/AIM BC10-1997: AIM International Technical Specification - International Symbology Specification - Maxicode

Washington D.C., February 1998 -- JTC 1 TAG (U.S. TAG to ISO/IEC JTC 1, Information Technology) announces the U.S. Submission to JTC 1 for Fast-Track processing, ANSI/AIM BC10-1997: AIM International Technical Specification - International Symbology Specification - Maxicode.

The standard was approved by the ANSI Board of Standards Review on May 8, 1997. The JTC 1 TAG is soliciting comments from the U.S. community on the appropriateness of the submission of this standard for Fast- Track processing in JTC 1.

The announcement period extends from February 13, 1998 through March 14, 1998.
